My Receipts

Welcome to the vault, ladies. Everything in this room is genuine — no fantasy edits, no AI. Just one very brave, very small man, documented from every angle. I keep it all. — Priya

Exhibit A. Most men want a banner that says ‘big.’ Mine stood under one that said SMALLEST — and grabbed the microphone like he was proud of it.
Look at him. The beard, the sunglasses, his name on a sash — everything about this man is oversized except the one thing that counts.
The swimwear portion. The other boys wore masks to protect their identities. Rip wanted you to know exactly whose it wasn’t.
And afterwards, the girls framed him. Three women, a bottle of wine, and his little secret in a picture frame. This, ladies, is what keeping the receipts looks like.

The man in the evidence

“Rip van Dinkle” — a stage name, believe it or not. He was in his early fifties when he stood on that Brooklyn stage in front of a hundred strangers. He’s in his sixties now — divorced, no kids — and he lives in Minnesota, which he apparently believed was far enough away. It wasn’t. I have Wi-Fi, and I have these. He believes he is the star of this website. Technically, he is the subject. — Priya

Target practice — the Masked Lady

Not every girl in his past wanted credit. This one wanted a mask. She and a friend — who stayed safely behind the camera — spent an afternoon putting him through his paces: bent over a desk, seated on the floor like furniture, and finally standing still while she threw fruit at the smallest target in the room. She asked not to be identified, so the mask stays on in every frame. Her terms are the only ones in this story that were ever non-negotiable.

The management. She does not give her name, and she does not miss.
First, discipline. Bent over her desk like a schoolboy, which is generous — schoolboys are usually bigger.
Then, target practice. That blur by his hip is an orange in flight. The target, ladies, is not hard to find. It is hard to hit, being so small — she managed.
Her trophy shot: fruit in hand, exhibit seated beside her like it came with the room.

Somewhere out there is a lady with excellent aim who will never tell. I respect it. The receipts, however, tell everything. — Priya Yang

Shift change — the Brunette

The Masked Lady was not the only appointment on his calendar. Her friend — the brunette, the boots — kept a session of her own: him kneeling before her chair like a petitioner, her delivering the verdicts one grey boot at a time. She also declined to be identified, and the camera honored it — her face appears in none of these frames. Professional courtesy, among torturers.

The hearing. Him kneeling, her seated, the agenda already decided.
The verdict, delivered by boot. He doubled. The boot did not.
Her review of the full exhibit, delivered safely from the camera side of the room. The files he sent me are named for her laugh. He earned the naming.

Two ladies, one afternoon-to-evening of his life, zero names surrendered — and somehow he is still the only one fully exposed. That ratio is the entire point of this website. — Priya Yang

The grapefruit — a finale

Every archive has a centerpiece, and this is ours. After the paddling, the boots and the target practice, the ladies prepared a grapefruit — hollowed it out with great ceremony — and had him fuck it on the floor while they filmed. This was his idea of an afternoon well spent. Honestly? It was well documented.

Before. Measured one last time, beside his date for the evening. The grapefruit, ladies, was the larger of the two.
During. On the floor, from the only angle modesty permits, giving a piece of citrus the full benefit of his experience. It did not write back.

Brooklyn measured him. Jaye examined him. Two anonymous ladies finished the job with fruit. I merely curate. — Priya Yang
